EVENTS & EXHIBITIONS

I have spent the majority of my life with a needle in my hand. I am attracted to every type of needlework that I can find and have practiced most of them.  Consequently, I would like to shine a light on other artists who also work with needles, be it in sewing, beading, knitting, crochet, embroidery, quilting, patchwork, lacework, or something else entirely that is done with a needle.  

Thus NEEDLEMANIA was born.  On the clothesline in the dining room we will be hosting a series of exhibitions of needle art throughout 2025.  The individual dates will be in the images below.  On the opening Friday of each show we will host a reception. Mark your calendars! You will have a chance to meet some amazing artists who just happen to work with fiber and needles.

This is our first exhibit of Needlemania.  It contains needlework from many different approaches, from a variety of artists.  It will be on our clothesline until March 2nd.  Come in and vote for Best of Show through March 1st.

Needlemania Opening Receptions are on the Friday, 6 – 8pm, of the opening dates listed above. Voting for Best of Show ends one day before the closing date.

Foodfests have cafe specials all month long on our menu.  The original art contest dates, revolving around each food, are listed above. They occur on the second Saturday of each of the Foodfest months, from 6 to 8 pm.  A prize is awarded for the best art in any form.
